Please excuse me whilst I momentarily dust off the cobwebs on this rather neglected 'blog.' There, that's better.
As some of you may know, I have been caught up in the chaos of what is the final year of a Communication Design degree. With that comes an onslaught of new experiences, adjustments, sleepless nights and ultimately, rewards. Between internships, final projects and the return of Gilmore Girls, I have had little time to decompress and reflect on this year. Which brings me to the theme of this post.
Hi. Hello to; the ripe old age of 21, graduating, attempted adult-ing, moving to a new city, moving to a new country, moving to... New York. That's right, in less than a month I will be moving across the world to live and work in New York City. That sentence still doesn't sound real. Saying hello to this opportunity is a big reason as to why I am attempting to resurrect this blog - I don't want to forget a moment of it.
Bye (for now) to; 16 years in the education system, friends from university, colleagues from past jobs, family, weekend retail work, the beautiful New Zealand summer, suburban living, predictability and a routine lifestyle.
Sorry for, well... being a really below average 'blogger.' I'll try to be better from now on, I promise.
See you in New York. Or maybe before, because it's going to be a reaaallllly long plane ride.
